Now Enrolling for Computer Numeric Controlled Operator Training

The Southwest Vermont Career Development Center, in conjunction with Kaman Composites Vermont, K&E Plastics, Hale Mountain Research and Mack Molding, is pleased to announce enrollment is now open to the general public for CNC (Computer Numeric Controlled) Operator Level 1 Training. The training will consist of 30 hours of classroom instruction over the span of 5 weeks and is scheduled to start on October 2nd. The training sessions will be conducted on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 5:00-8:00 at the Career Development Center. The tuition cost is $231.25 (but may be lower depending on class size).

Each student who successfully completes the CNC Operator Level 1 training will be afforded an interview for an advanced manufacturing position with at least one of the participating companies.

This is a wonderful opportunity for high school students, senior citizens or folks looking for a career change who have an interest in working in an advanced manufacturing environment.
