Element of CARES Act

Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation: The agreement provided an additional $600 for each weekly claim to all UI claimants, including those not previously eligible (i.e. Self-Employed).  In effect for claims for the week ending April 4, 2020 through July 25, 2020.

Should further updates on FPUC become available, the Department of Labor will update the information on this page and communicate out to claimants. 


What to know about FPUC ending

  • Claimants will receive state and federal benefits for the week ending July 25 no later than the week ending August 1 (this will likely include the $600 benefit)
  • Claimants will continue to receive state benefits, but must continue to file their weekly claim
