Department of Labor Response to COVID-19

As the situation around COVID-19 continues to develop, the Vermont Department of Labor is committed to assisting workers and employers through these increasingly uncertain times.  The Department has issued guidance and is working with other departments and agencies across the state to ensure that questions from employers and employees are addressed. This information will be updated as new details come to light.  Through these updates, the Department of Labor will work to keep you updated with the most current information on COVID-19 as it relates to unemployment insurance, workers' compensation insurance, workforce development and work rules. Updates from the Department of Labor will be posted to our homepage, and general questions and concerns should be directed to the Department of Health at
