The Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) provides a temporary increase in unemployment insurance weekly benefit payments. This program provides claimants with $300 on top of their weekly benefit amount in all programs. Weekly benefit amounts are calculated based on wages earned within the last four calendar quarters. As long as a claimant is eligible for benefits, this will automatically be added to each eligible weekly benefit payment, claimants do not need to do anything additional.
If you in the Regular UI program are using the Online Claimant Portal to file your weekly claims, the weekly benefit amount displayed when you log in does not reflect the additional $300, it only shows your weekly benefit amount.
