The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released its Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) which outlines workplace requirements to mitigate the risk of contracting COVID-19 in the workplace. Because Vermont is a State Plan State, Vermont has 30 days to adopt a standard that is at least as effective as what is outlined by OSHA. The Department is reviewing the ETS in full and will provide additional information and guidance in the coming days.
