Element of CARES Act
Emergency Relief for Governmental Entities and Non-profit Organizations: This will allow for federal relief to governmental entities and certain non-profit organizations in the State that are considered “reimbursable employers” for purpose of UI, meaning the entity or organization pays back the UI Trust Fund dollar-for-dollar for benefits paid as opposed to quarterly UI contributions. The Act allows for fifty percent (50%) reimbursement or relief of these charges.
