The City of Montpelier and the Department of Labor's main office is currently experiencing a power outage due to the current storm. The loss of power is currently impacted the Department's ability to access and administer the Unemployment Insurance system.
Additionally, State Offices will be closing today at 1pm due to the significant weather event. Individuals who require assistance with their unemployment claims can still contact claimant assistance at 1-877-214-3332. Claimants looking to open a new claim will need to contact 1-877-214-3330 on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
State offices are closed on Monday, December 26, 2022 in observance of the Christmas holiday.
