Announcement from the Vermont Department of Labor
Please be aware that the Vermont Workers’ Compensation Program will not be transitioning to the R3.I system update that was scheduled for May of 2025. This schedule modification is due to a change in one of the vendors that had been working on the project to modernize the Workers’ Compensation IT system. Over the coming weeks and months, the Department of Labor will be working to develop a revised roadmap for this project along with an updated ‘go-live’ date for a new, modern system. We continue to appreciate the support of IAIABC, our jurisdictional partners, and Ebix, as we continue to move this project forward. Please continue to refer to our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) webpage for regular updates (https://labor.vermont.gov/WCEDI), and feel free to contact the Vermont Workers’ Compensation Program if you have any questions or concerns. Until further notice, VDOL will continue to use Release R1.0 with no change in the current process.
