The Vermont Department of Labor has recently sent out 2022 Employer Rate Notices, which indicate UI employer contribution rates for the 2022-2023 rate year (July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023).
Employers should ensure that they review their individual tax rate notice thoroughly. As a reminder, the Department relieved employers of benefit charges for calendar year 2020. In the event there are concerns with the rate calculation, employers have 30 days from the date of mailing to appeal rate notices. Appeals may be filed by following the instructions on the notice.
