More than any other time in history, this group of head-strong and resilient people has had to endure a burden that will likely challenge them for years to come. Today, we honor Vermont's workers, both past and present, for their commitment to the ideals that make Vermont a state of integrity and compassion, and their ability to weather whatever storm comes their way.
The Vermont Department of Labor is committed to ensuring that Vermonters receive fair and equitable treatment, that their workplaces are safe and free from retaliation, and that employment discrimination has no place in Vermont. Additionally, we thank all Vermont employers for their pledge to these principles.
