SURVEY: Summer Employment for Vermont’s Young Adults
To Vermont Employers and Business Leaders:
As a part of our efforts to support employment opportunities for youth and young adults, the Vermont Department of Labor (VDOL) wants to hear from you as Vermont employers and business leaders.
If you are interested in potentially providing work experiences (paid and unpaid) for Vermont youth and young adults this summer, complete the short survey below.
Enriching Vermont’s Youth
VDOL is currently working alongside the Agencies of Commerce and Community Development, Human Services, and Education, along with community partners in local schools, recreation departments, clubs, 21st Century Vermont Programs, and Vermont Afterschool to support efforts to connect Vermont’s youth and young adults with as many enriching opportunities as possible this summer.
VDOL and these other state agencies and partners will be working with the Governor’s office to promote these opportunities to young Vermonters as summer approaches. We invite you to join this effort!
Additionally, this information will help us identify the best ways to support public and private partners in creating supportive and safe summer spaces. Please click here to provide this important information so we can share it with project collaborators and, ultimately, families and potential young workers.
Please do take a moment to complete our survey about possible summer opportunities for youth with your business or organization. In addition, if you need help recruiting to fill available jobs – don’t hesitate to reach out to us at Labor.Vermont.gov/HiringInVermont. Thank you for your help!
