Update on New Benefit Year Process
The Department is working on processing issues related to claimants opening a new benefit year. If you applied to open a new benefit year but are unable to file claims or are getting a blank screen, you do not need to do anything yet. This is because there was an issue with the application being entered into the system. We are working to correct the data now and will notify you when you can continue to file your claims.
You will not miss out on benefits because of this error. We know this is frustrating and are working as quickly as we can to fix the problem.
