Vermont Department of Labor Extends Public Comment Period on Proposed Administrative Rule for Passenger Tramway Program
Montpelier, Vt. – The Vermont Department of Labor has extended the public comment period on the proposed administrative rules specific to the Vermont Passenger Tramway Program until December 31, 2023.
Any member of the public interested in providing written comment on the proposed rules may do so by emailing Workers’ Compensation and Safety Director Dirk Anderson at dirk.anderson@vermont.gov or by mailing their comments to the address below.

The Department intends to update the existing program standards to align with the current version of the American National Standards Institute’s safety standards for passenger ropeways (ANSI B77.1). Additionally, the Department proposes an update to the Vermont-specific regulations that govern the Passenger Tramway Program.
