In the United States, roughly 15 workers lose their lives each day due to work-related injuries. In 2023, a reported 5,283 workers suffered fatal injuries while on the job site.
Between June and October 2024, the Vermont Department of Labor brought together experts from 27 healthcare, government, employment, and non-profit organizations across Vermont to address and prevent work disability in Vermont collaboratively.
This week, representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor and the Vermont Department of Labor will host a series of Wage & Hour Employer Seminars to provide Vermont businesses with essential information on wage and hour rules and regulations.
